Nürnberg, 4. Mai 2019 - Das digitale Krankenhaus, Management Forum Starnberg
The Hessian Chamber delegates voted by a large majority in favour of a corresponding incorporation of the new regulation into the Hessian Professional Code (paragraph 7(4)). Accordingly, in future, exclusive counselling or treatment via communication media will also be permitted in Hesse in individual cases “if this is medically justifiable and the necessary medical care is maintained in particular by the way in which the findings are collected, counselling, treatment and documentation”.
Prof. Dirksen talks about problems and difficulties:
Very often Data Privacy and data Protection is addressed negatively. But to be honest we have to admit that the protection of our data is an imminent important factor to secure our personal freedom. So concerning the GDPR we have the battle of data privacy protection versus providing and accessing important information!
One of the biggest hurdles of blockchain technology is the scalability. The best known blockchain, the bitcoin blockchain, can execute seven transactions per second. As described in the previous chapters, financial services alone execute approximately 2,000-10,000 transactions per second.
Those Questions and even more Prof. Dirksen discusses on 26th March in Frankfurt.
Leipzig, 28. November 2018 - Cleanroom Experts Days, ReinraumAkademie
In the context of the cleanroom industry, the protection of new technical or process-structuring ideas is of great importance, because it gives them competitive advantages and thus often the existence of a company.
However, the increasing networking increases the risks for the secrecy of business and trade secrets.
Consequently, each company must develop a strategy on how to protect its ideas and know-how, its products and thus its investments on the basis of existing industrial property rights.

The first hype is over, can we now proceed to the agenda? Dangers of the new GDPR will not become concrete, as has been widely expected, in the warning system, but in the way in which the data protection officers of the countries will deal with fines. In addition, the clarification of important facts of the GDPR is still pending. Which doctor’s office needs a data protection officer, what should be taken into account when handling patient data and when does a data protection impact assessment have to be carried out? On 19 October 2018, we will formulate answers to these topics in a workshop of the Association of Lawyers in Medical Law in Cologne.

The blockchain is now more than just the technology for the cryptocurrency Bitcoin. In reality, blockchain itself is the real innovation that has the potential to change our society. From an information point of view, we are still at the very beginning of blockchains and smart contracts.
However, it is still difficult to make a concrete assessment of what is feasible and feasible at present or in the foreseeable future. Only the future will provide answers here.
Nürnberg, 20. - 21. Februar 2018 - Net.Law.S 2018 - Konferenz für Recht, Gesellschaft und Industrie
Without the need for a central computer instance, the blockchain ensures trustworthiness and the traceability of all transactions. In healthcare, blockchain can ensure patient data integrity and digital identity. Health records could be managed through the blockchain due to a common structure. The blockchain could also achieve connectivity that supports consistent authorization for the retrieval of electronic patient data. The exchange of patient data could show real interoperability. Blockchain-based systems can significantly reduce the problems and costs of participants currently involved in data exchange.
